Over 33% of the Village of Hoffman Estates is forest preserve filled with trees. That’s 1/3 of the community land area dedicated to the preservation of natural ecology. And that’s 1/3 of the community where people can go to appreciate the natural beauty of one of the largest wooded areas in Illinois.

The preserve is complemented by the 585 acres of land in uses as parks and recreational areas.

There are also 30 playground areas; 29 baseball/softball fields; 23 basketball courts; 14 outdoor tennis courts; 10 soccer fields; 3 football fields; and 1 outdoor track in the community.
